January 18 – Vigils for Michelle Go from New York to San Francisco

The community gathered in San Francisco’s Chinatown to remember Michelle Go, a 40-year-old Bay Area native who was living in New York, was pushed in front of an oncoming subway train Saturday morning at the Times Square station. The brutal killing sparked global outrage and is the latest highly publicized incident as Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have experienced a spike in hate crimes and discrimination during the pandemic due to racist rhetoric linked to the spread of the virus. Read more. 

January 30 – ASIAN JUSTICE RALLY: A National Day of Remembrance & Action
