June 7, 2026 – Election Results Update:

San Francisco voters showed up strong for the candidates and measures we endorsed in the June 2, 2026 primary election. From Congress to City Hall, voters backed experienced leaders, fresh voices, and commonsense policies that support working families and local communities. The results were clear, our endorsed slate delivered major wins up and down the ballot, showing growing momentum behind our shared values and vision for San Francisco.

Federal & State Offices

  • US Representative, District 11 – Scott Wiener: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • US Representative, District 15 – Kevin Mullin: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Governor – Matt Mahan: Loss (Does not advance)
  • Lieutenant Governor – Fiona Ma: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Secretary of State – Shirley N. Weber: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Controller – Malia M. Cohen: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Treasurer – Eleni Kounalakis: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Attorney General – Rob Bonta: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • Insurance Commissioner – Patrick Wolff: Loss (Does not advance)
  • State Superintendent of Public Instruction – Anthony Rendon: Loss (Does not advance)
  • Board of Equalization, District 2 – Sally J. Lieber: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • State Assemblymember, District 17 – Matt Haney: Win (Advances to the November general election)
  • State Assemblymember, District 19 – Catherine Stefani: Win (Advances to the November general election)

San Francisco Local Offices

  • Board of Education – Phil Kim: Win (Takes office; will run for full term in the November general election)
  • Board of Supervisors, District 2 – Stephen Sherrill: Win (Takes office; will run for full term in the November general election)
  • Board of Supervisors, District 4 – Alan Wong: Win (Takes office; will run for full term in the November general election)
  • Superior Court Judge, Seat 16 – Phoebe H. Maffei: Win (Takes office)

San Francisco Measures

  • Prop A – Earthquake Bond – Yes Recommendation: Win (The city will now issue bonds to start emergency safety projects)
  • Prop B – Lifetime Term Limits – Yes Recommendation: Win (The new term limit rules become law)
  • Prop C – Business Tax Decreases – Yes Recommendation: Loss (The proposed business tax cuts will not take effect)
  • Prop D – Executive Pay Tax Increase – No Recommendation: Win (The tax increase is defeated and will not take effect)

This year’s slate reflects a strong mix of experience, fresh leadership, and diverse voices, candidates who understand the challenges of working class San Francisco residents and are ready to deliver results for our communities.
