AAPI Heritage Month Reception in honor of Mayor Ed Lee’s birthday

Celebrating AAPI Makers, Shakers, & Bakers

Join the Ed Lee Dems as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on Tuesday, May 5, which would have been Mayor Ed Lee’s birthday.

Mayor Ed Lee believed in uplifting the community’s makers who create and build, shakers who lead and drive change, and bakers who bring people together through culture, craft, and care. In honor of his legacy and AAPI Heritage Month, we will highlight a few outstanding individuals who reflect that spirit.

This special evening brings together community leaders, elected officials, and supporters to celebrate AAPI leadership, culture, and community while supporting the work of the Ed Lee Dems to organize, inspire, and empower Democrats across San Francisco.
